Wavy Trees nod to nostalgia with new single "Nothing But You" and PlayStation 1 inspired music video

Los Angeles based rock trio Wavy Trees have reignited a sense of nostalgia into listeners as they share their new single "Nothing But You” accompanied by a retro video which takes the band inside an animated PlayStation 1 video game.
If Wayne’s World and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure collided in an alternate reality house party, Wavy Trees would be the band playing in the backyard of that house party.
Wavy Trees is composed of lead vocals/lead guitarist Zack Smith, guitarist Jason Espiritu and bassist Brian Duke, offering a mixture of hard rock riffs with the attitude and energy of garage-punk. The band formed in 2019 and has opened for Bikini Trill.
Zack shares about the song : “"Nothing But You" is about loving someone more than anything but also falling in love with everyone you meet. I’m the type of person who falls in love every day, and this was written with both no one in particular and everyone I’ve ever loved in mind."
Guitarist Jason created the music video which sees the band fly through outer space cruising the galaxy when they have to save a world whose people are enslaved by overlords called The Admin and stripped of their free thought.
